Arbonne Party

So, the news that I'm so excited about (I mentioned a couple of weeks ago about exciting news) is that I have become a consultant for Arbonne, a skin care and health and wellness company.  I LOVE the Arbonne products, they are botanically based and formulated to Eurorpean standards, no carcinogens and they smell wonderful and work great.

Anyway, I am so excited about the income opportunity I have with Arbonne.  I have seen so many women who are doing great in this business and I know I can too.  All I have to do is follow the pattern that my upline has put forth and I can achieve it.  It truly is achievable :)

Tonight we are having a party at my house and if you haven't been invited, consider yourself invited now.  We will be doing foot spas and facials and it will be so much fun. If you want to know how to get to my house just send me a message here or on Facebook and I'll be in touch.

So now, back to cleaning.  Got to get this place ready.  Hope you can come :)

Pinewood Derby Race

Yesterday was the Pinewood Derby Race for the Royal Rangers and National Girl's Ministries.  There were approximately 40-50 cars that raced and everyone did such a great job.  It was a lot of fun.

I'm very proud of my kids and all the work they put into their cars. You see, my kids started researching which car they wanted to make this year right after the races last year.  Months ahead of time they decided on their design and drew them out on paper.  You can ask Katilyn what makes a derby car faster and she will quickly inform you on what shape works best as well as the best aerodynamics.  I'm proud to see that their work paid off.

Here are some pictures from last night.

Garden Update

I just wanted to give you some updated pictures on my garden.  It is growing so nicely and I am so excited about it's progress.  I did go back and plant more cucumbers and green beans, then I had to replant the zucchini squash because nothing came up originally.  But for now everything looks great and I am very pleased.  Enjoy!

For those of you who have gardens, how are they coming along?

My Talented Daughter

I've never been one who is very good at drawing so for me to have talented artists in my family is thrilling.  One of my little artists is my daughter Kaitlyn.  As I was in her room this morning I happened to notice how large her collage on her bedroom wall has become of all her favorite artwork and just had to take pictures.

Thought I would share them with you.  My way of bragging just a bit ;)
You can click on each picture to get a better look at them.

Post VBS in Our House

Well, VBS is over and it's time to get things back in order in our house.  The week of VBS is usually pretty hectic and crazy so not all the normal chores get taken care of everyday, such as only one or two loads of laundry washed and dried (not folded) instead of three and dishes washed but not always put right away.  So today I'm glad to say that we are getting caught up on all the little things that we are behind on :)

I do want to share that our VBS had 2117 in attendance with 549 salvations and 469 rededications for a total of 1018 commitments for Christ!  Awesome VBS year! So worth letting the house go for a few days :)

The Turtle

The kids found a box turtle today in our driveway.  Of course they are wanting to keep it, but I told them they couldn't because it would probably die.  However, I am allowing them to keep it inside for a couple of days to observe (I'm not all bad or insensitive).
